Families of children with developmental issues are too often forced to run from pillar to post, scrambling across town between different specialists and clinics to ensure their little ones get the best treatment possible. This fragmented approach to treatment is emotionally, physically, and financially draining. It also forces families to choose between competing medical advice and suggestions, rather than allowing different specialists to come together and implement a well-informed and balanced treatment plan.

The Fernandez Child Development Centre (FCDC) was established in May 2019 in collaboration with Divis Foundation for Gifted Children to offer an integrated and individualised approach to treatment for children with developmental disabilities and disorders.

The Centre brings together specialists from different and related fields under one roof. Multiple therapies and programmes are offered at a subsidised cost, ensuring that every child that requires help receives it. Our work begins with early intervention, often when the child is still in the hospital after birth, and includes a variety of treatment plans that evolve with the child, helping them achieve their full potential.
The Centre also creates a safe and supportive environment for children and their families.
